Natural gardens can be beautiful, relaxing and inexpensive by using plants that are native to your city and/or state. Let's say for example, you live in Arizona. Arizona happens to be a drought state and therefore there is very little rainfall. Depending on the city you live in and it's temperatures, there are many plants and vegetations to choose from. Perhaps you already have some of them in your yard. Here is a list which includes many of the native plants for Arizona. Please check with the United States Department  of Agriculture to determine which plants are native to your area.

Here is a list of some optional ideas.
Using native plants with a mixture of:

 Flagstone

 Gravel

Old Lumber

 Pavers

 Planters

 Railroad Ties

  Rocks

 Sand

All work great and will help to highlite your garden. You may wish to look around to see what you have on hand to add to your garden. Use your imagination so you can make it your own, not like someone down the road. For example, you might have kids and they may have had an old wagon that the tire got broke on. You may have put it in your garage to fix for them one day and one day just never came.  You might consider turning it on it's side and adding some fill dirt and some flowers. Easy, simple and it looks wonderful!
Soon you will have a beautiful, relaxing, and natural garden you will love and enjoy!
