Tea

is a popular drink it is used many different reasons. Some drink tea like other drink
coffee. Some use tea for healing, weight loss or just to enjoy. There are many different
ways to drink tea. Some like it hot, cold, sweet, spicy and some like it bitter.
Tea comes from a plant called "Camellia Sinensis". The leaves and buds are picked
and processed. Depending on the type of tea you are wanting, will determine the way it
will be processed to attain different levels of oxidation. Camellia Sinensis leaves are
oxidized under controlled humidity and temperatures. Black tea is oxidized longer
than green tea and other teas. White tea has not been oxidized. The longer the tea is in
the oxidation process the stronger the flavor and the more caffeine the tea will contain.

Black Tea

is the most popular tea today. Black tea keeps its flavor a lot longer than other teas. Tea can loose it's flavor sitting on a shelf in your cupboard. Black tea has a rich strong flavor, it also contains more caffeine than other tea. Black tea is used to mix other flavors to tone down the bitterness down a bit. Black tea has been studied  by Boston University and  they found a decreased risk for heart disease among those that drink black tea. Some of the blended teas are:
Earl Grey- is black tea blended with bergamot oil. Earl Grey is a smooth rich tea.
English Breakfast- is black tea blended with Assam,
Ceylon and Kenyan teas. English Breakfast tea is known for its strong brisk flavor.
Add milk or cream to tone it down a bit.
Flavored Tea- is black tea blended with citrus fruit rinds such as orange or lemon,
sometimes in conjunction with spices such as cinnamon or ginger. (Not the same as an herbal tea.)
Irish Breakfast- is black tea blended with Assam. Irish Breakfast tea is also known for its
strong brisk flavor like the English Breakfast tea.

what green tea will do for your health. What green tea dose help with is

 Herbal Tea

When we think of herbal tea we might think that it has Camellia
Sinensis, with other plants leaves, seeds and oils added to give herbal tea its
flavors. In-fact the true herbal tea dose not have Camellia Sinensis in it at all
it is made up of other plants leaves, seeds, oils, fruits and berry's. Although
today some herbal teas do have Camellia Sinensis blended in for added
flavor. Tip- most herbal tea dose not have caffeine unless it dose contain
 Camellia Sinensis.
